National Petrochemical Industry Day is a valuable opportunity to honor the dedication and achievements of the men and women whose knowledge, commitment, innovation, and perseverance have transformed Iran's petrochemical industry into one of the strategic pillars of the national economy, a driving force for industrial development, and a symbol of the country's capabilities.
This occasion commemorates the beginning of a remarkable chapter in Iran's industrial history, marked by the establishment of Shiraz Petrochemical Company in 1963 as the country's first petrochemical production facility. Today, the anniversary of this landmark event is rightfully recognized as National Petrochemical Industry Day.
Today, the petrochemical industry extends far beyond manufacturing. It represents economic strength, value creation, integration across the value chain, a bridge between production and markets, and a foundation for the country's economic diplomacy. Even under the most challenging conditions, the industry has continued to advance self-reliance, resilience, and sustainable progress through the dedication of its highly skilled and committed workforce.
